I really like White Forest, I like how the pokemon change based on what trainers you've brought. It made me think. This is kinda like being the mayor of the town and deciding who lives. In that regard, it's also kinda like animal crossing. It's a good use of the features but not implemented in the best way. The mapping is really grid-like and boring, the viewpoint is way too zoomed out, and there's not enough buildings or rewards. There is so much more they could do with it!

They really could do some kind of building mechanics with it...(I love stuff like that)
For example, you could have a list of buildings you can build. You could build a small pokemon center, and invite a nurse joy along to it. Or maybe you could build your own (non-league) gym! You could then have someone run the gym with a team you select. You could set up the gym puzzle like the underground traps in DPP. You should be able to invite trainers from all over the region to join too, and then when a friend visits they should be able to battle all the trainers in your town and use all the features. As your town improves, random npcs would join and important characters could visit! Maybe I'm getting too ahead of myself...they have done something similar though to be honest. It would really add a bit more playability to the game once you've beaten it though. You could get little achievements like a gold statue of yourself if you caught all the pokemon. And of course, it should also connect with your friends online. Other rpg's have done this so it's not such a far cry.

Regarding Entralink, I like the missions but they are kinda repetitive. Once you complete a mission it also kicks you out and you have to reconnect. In 2 of the 6 missions, you turn into a pokemon! I have never experienced walking around as a pokemon in the games before...I wa a machop, then a geodude, then a meowth, and also a sandshrew! When I connected to my friend, he could see the little pokemon walking around - Awesome! They could do so much more to this...You should be able to select ANY pokemon you want to play as. They should let you explore the whole region too, and leave items wherever you like. It would be cool if 4 players could play together too and obviously again online. In another mission, you play as nurse joy and cure your friend whilst he's battling. It would be awesome to have some more nurse Joy missions! For example: maybe team plasma is attacking a pokemon center, and you have to help defend it with a team of happiny, chansey, blissey and audino level 40 or something.

As you might know, Entralink is looking a bit different in the new BW2 region map, and Black City/White Forest is hidden under the ice...Hopefully this means they'll be making improvements! I can't wait to see what they've done. Festival Missions and Join Avenue seem kinda similar so I'll be excited to see what those hold too.

I'm importing the japanese versions of BW2 (like I always do) so we should know pretty soon!
